This is an exciting excursion to take while in Uganda heading you to Western part of Uganda for its different Wildlife Species inhabited in its major exciting tourist sites which include Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Bunyonyi popularly known for the exciting boat ride.
Day 1: Arrival and Pickup to Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be picked by our Safari guide and transfer you to your hotel of residence for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation options include: Anderita Beach Hotel, Papyrus Guesthouse Entebbe, or Gately Inn Entebbe.
Also on arrival if time allows our driver can pick you and transfer up to Kampala city for a short city tour and later check in at the hotel in Kampala for Dinner and Overnight Stay. Accommodation options include Serena hotel, Sheraton hotel, Pearl of Africa Hotel, Grande imperial hotel, Namirembe guest house and more
Day 2: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park.
Early in the morning have your breakfast at the Lodge and after embark the Safari jeep to start your exciting Journey from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park via Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara highway including en route stopover at Mpambire drum makers and at the Equator for some brief explanation about the equator, photographs and snacks, thereafter continue with the Journey to Lake Mburo National Park.
Stopover in Mbarara town is also included for Lunch and thereafter you continue with the journey to the Park, it’s also possible to have lunch at the lodge in Lake Mburo National Park. Have afternoon boat ride along the waters of Lake Mburo. Day 3: Game drives in Mburo – Transfer to Bwindi
Early in the morning have your breakfast at the lodge and after be in for a morning game drive using suitable pop up Safari jeep exposing you to different Wildlife Species including Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras, Kobs, Impala, Topi and more plus different bird species.
Return to the lodge for lunch and later after check out at the lodge for your exciting journey to the amazing Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in at the lodge for relaxation after the long exciting drive from Lake Mburo National Park. Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early in the morning after your breakfast transfer up to the Park offices or starting point for the short briefing which is conducted to highlight trekkers on what to do and what not to do while in the Jungle and in presence of Mountain Gorillas, after members are distributed into groups of eight people and assigned to different gorilla families per group, each Gorilla family is trekked by a group of eight people per day.
The journey to the Jungle is started in a group following the well-established routes heading to the Jungle in search of these shy endangered ground dwelling apes for interaction, after discovering these apes in the Jungle you are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing with young ones, feeding, laughing plus taking photos and videos of them. Usually the time of trekking and distance moved depends on where these apes spent there last night.
It’s advised that when heading for the Gorilla trek you come along with your packed food for eating while in the Jungle since most of the times lunch reaches when trekkers are still in the Jungle being unable to come back for lunch at your hotel of residence.
After Gorilla trek in Bwindi return to lodge for relaxation and later after checkout at the lodge and transfer up to Lake Bunyonyi for the exciting boat ride.
Lake Bunyonyi is one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda attracting in more tourists from different countries of the World, it is the second deepest lake in Africa at 900 m deep. Check in at the lodge for overnight stay. Day 5: Boat ride and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning have your breakfast and after be in for the boat ride along the waters of Lake Bunyonyi visiting its major islands, you can also have a hike to the view point on the hills exposing you to different exciting views, after return to the lodge for relaxation, lunch and later after transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 6: Game drive and Boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early after your breakfast at the lodge be in for the morning game drive around the Park using suitable pop up Safari jeep exposing you to different Wildlife Species including Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi, Bush bucks, spotted hyenas and more. Continue to the Ishasha sector for the famous tree climbing lions resting up in the fig tree branches.
After the exciting game drive return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you get prepared for the exciting launch trip cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Launch trip cruise along Kazinga Channel exposes you to different aquatic species including hippopotamus, crocodiles, water birds and more. Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala
Early in the morning have breakfast and set off for your exciting journey back to Kampala including en route stopover in Mbarara town for Lunch and thereafter continue to Kampala or Entebbe for hotel check in or return flight back home.
