his five day visit to Kibale Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park both located in the Western Part of Uganda exposes you to Uganda’s different exciting Wildlife species including the famous tree climbing lions which are usually sighted in the Southern Ishasha sector resting up in the branches of fig trees.

Activities done while on this exciting Safari in Uganda include Chimpanzee tracking, Bigodi walk, game drives, launch trip cruise and Nature Walks. Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be picked by our Safari guide and transfer you up to your booked hotel of residence in Entebbe or Kampala city, on day of arrival if time allows depending on your time of arrival you can have a city tour.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Early in the morning after your breakfast embark our Safari Jeep with our driver, check out and start the exciting Journey from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara highway including en route stopover at Mpambire drum makers and at the equator for some brief explanation about the equator, photographs when posing at the equator and snacks.

After equator you then continue with the exciting journey not until you reach Mbarara town for another stop over to have lunch and after lunch you continue with the journey up to Queen Elizabeth National Park for check in at the lodge for some relaxation after a long distance drive.

After relaxing a bit at the lodge in the evening you can have a game drive in the Mweya peninsular exposing you to different Wildlife species including Wild animals like Buffaloes, Warthogs, Elephants, Antelopes and more. If not game drive you can visit the exciting Lake Katwe town for its attractive crater lakes on display. Accommodation options include Mweya Safari Lodge, Simba Safari Lodge or Mweya Hostels.

Day 2: Game Drive and Launch Cruise along Kazinga Channel

Early in the morning have your breakfast at the lodge and after set off for the morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains using suitable pop up Safari jeep exposing you to different Wildlife species which include Cape buffaloes, black and white Colobus monkey, bush buck, Uganda Kob, topi, Defassa waterbuck, different bird species like black bee-eater, Cassin’s grey flycatcher, broad billed roller and more, you can continue to the southern Ishasha sector for sighting of the famous tree climbing lions resting up in the fig tree branches.

After the exciting game drive return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch as you get prepared for the afternoon exciting launch trip cruise along the Kazinga Channel, this launch trip cruise exposes you to different aquatic species which include Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, different water bird species and some Wild animals which access near the shores in need of water for drinking. After the exciting launch trip cruise return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay. Meal Plan: Full board.

Day 3: Check out for Kibale Forest National Park -visit Bigodi Swamp

Early in the morning have breakfast at the lodge and after check out for the exciting journey from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale Forest National Park which is ranked to be with the highest numbers of primate species totalling to thirteen species including the Chimpanzee primates, the most exciting chimpanzee tracking experience is characterised in Kibale Forest National Park. Reaching in Kibale Forest National Park check in at the Lodge and relax a bit as you get prepared for the evening nature walk in Bigodi wetland exposing you to different bird species including endemic and non-endemic species.

Dinner and Overnight stay at Kyaninga Lodge, Crater Safari lodge, Primate Lodge or Kibale Forest Camp. Meal Plan: Half Board

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale

Early in the morning after your breakfast, be at the starting point for a short briefing about Chimpanzee tracking which involves guiding the trackers on how to behave while in the Jungle, after briefing the journey to the Jungle is started in a group with Park ranger guide and armed officers in search of these primates for interaction and experience. Chimpanzee tracking usually is done for about 4-5 hours and it’s done in sessions including morning session, afternoon session, and evening session.

While on Chimpanzee tracking, you are exposed to other Wildlife species which include other primates like L’Hoest Monkeys, Baboons, Black and White Colobus, Golden Monkeys, Grey checked monkeys, Red Colobus and more. After Chimpanzee tracking return to the Lodge for relaxation as you get prepared for another guided nature walk through Bigodi Wetland. After return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala

Early in the morning have your breakfast at the lodge in Kibale and after check out for the exciting Journey from Kibale Forest National Park back to Kampala for check in at the hotel or for your return flight back home at Entebbe international airport. End of Safari in Uganda
