This eight day vacation in Uganda heads you to its major exciting tourist sites in Western Uganda including Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is popularly known for the shy endangered ground dwelling Herbivores Mountain Gorillas, Lake Bunyonyi and Queen Elizabeth National Park which is popularly known for the famous Tree climbing lions.

Activities done on this vacation in Uganda include game drives, launch trip cruise, boat ride on waters of Lake Bunyonyi, Batwa visit, Chimpanzee tracking, Kampala city tour and Mountain Gorilla trekking.

Day 1: Airport pickup- Kampala City Tour

Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be picked by our Safari guide from the airport and transfer up to Kampala city for a short tour visiting its main places of interest and later check in at the hotel in Kampala for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after your breakfast at the hotel, check out and embark the Safari jeep for the exciting Journey from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park in South western Uganda on Uganda’s border with Democratic Republic of Congo via Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara highway including exciting stopovers at Mpambire drum makers and at the equator for some brief explanation about the equator, photos and snacks.

After continue with the Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park including another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch, continuing with the journey to the Park check in at the lodge after reaching for some relaxation as you get prepared for the evening game drive in the Southern Ishasha sector to sight the famous Tree climbing lions resting up in the fig tree branches.

Day 3: Game drive & Launch trip Cruise

Early in the morning have your delicious breakfast and be in for the exciting morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains using suitable pop up Safari jeep to catch the early risers which include Wild animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Kobs, Spotted hyenas, Leopards plus different bird species.

After the exciting game drive return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you get prepared for the afternoon launch trip cruise along the Kazinga Channel exposing you to different aquatic species like Crocodiles, Hippopotamus, Water birds and some wild animals which access the shores in need of Water, after launch trip cruise return to the lodge.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge- Transfer to Bwindi.

Early in the morning after your breakfast transfer to Kyambura gorge for the exciting Chimpanzee tracking session and after return to the lodge for lunch and after transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector route characterised with the en route game viewing exposing you to sighting of the famous Tree climbing lions resting up in the fig tree branches. Reaching Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Buhoma sector, check in at the lodge.

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla trekking – Bwindi Forest National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast transfer up to the starting point or park offices for short briefing conducted to highlight trekkers on Dos and Don’ts while in the Jungle and in presence of Mountain Gorillas.

After the trekking is started heading to the jungle in search of these shy endangered ground dwelling Mountain Gorillas, after locating them you are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing with young ones, feeding, laughing plus taking photos and videos of them.

After one hour session return back to the Park offices for Gorilla trekking certificate award, its advised that when heading for the Gorilla trek you come along with your packed food for eating while in the Jungle since most times lunch time reaches when trekkers are still in the Jungle being unable to come back for lunch, after Gorilla trek return to the Lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Batwa Visit – then to Lake Bunyonyi

Early in the morning after breakfast at the lodge you will visit the Batwa people in the local communities for interaction, cultural performance, and also experience their ways of living, these Batwa people were local hunters and gatherers who migrated from Ituri forest reserve of Democratic Republic of Congo, part settled in Rwanda near Volcanoes National Park and others settled in the western wing of Uganda.

After the village walk return to the lodge for lunch and later after transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for the exciting boat ride, check in at the Lodge.

Day 7: Exciting Boat ride along Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast in the morning be in for an exciting boat ride along the waters of Lake Bunyonyi visiting its different exciting Islands, after return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, later check out for transfer back to Kampala for overnight stay in Kampala in your hotel of choice.

Day 8: Visit Entebbe town- then to Entebbe Airport

Early in the morning transfer from Kampala to Entebbe for a visit to its exciting places of interest which include Entebbe botanical gardens, Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, Beaches and thereafter transfer to the airport for your return flight back home. End of Safari in Uganda.
